The sky is awash with various shades of soft greys and browns, the clouds are backlit with a stunning pink hue, there’s a storm approaching and I’m far from home.

The trees overhang the narrow road, the old timber shacks and lean-to’s speak to you with their stories from yesteryear as the moon peers through the canopy from above, there’s a stillness and a feeling of solitude as time stops for a moment or two and you are truly at one with nature.

The beautiful green wide-open landscapes are still visible yet there’s a sense of the unknown as your depth of field is minimized, the light lessons ever so quickly, scented eucalyptus trees and wildflowers are dotted through the paddocks and the native grasses line the road with Autumn leaves beautifully scattered on the ground.
