Without light there is no colour, no shadows? This series is influenced by the variations of light. The tones of the colours, various textural layers and use of movement through the series seem completely different with the changing of light.

The two pieces created, show the contrast of how light has an impact on mood, texture and shadows. 

When imagining a place, take notice of the beauty in how it can look and feel completely different from day to night. For example, taking in the colours of the sun rising on the top of a hill and how completely different the place would feel and look in the darkness of the night. Both beautiful, but completely different.
