Potted plants started to appear heavily in my work throughout 2020. I see this as a result of the many hours at home during the Melbourne lockdown. Visually, it was the pot plants around my house that inspired me and I found it fun to work with the two completely different elements. Painting the detailing on a pot is very different to the detailing of a plant. They involve a completely different set of painting techniques.
